Sentence Structure

  • Use complete sentences when clarity is needed
  • Keep sentences short and active

Voice & Verb Tense

  • Use present tense unless you’re describing something that already happened

✅ "Changes save automatically."
🚫 "Changes will be saved automatically."

  • Prefer active voice over passive voice

✅ "We’ve sent you a confirmation email."
🚫 "A confirmation email has been sent."


Pronouns

  • Use “you” and “we” to sound conversational and helpful

Contractions

  • Use natural contractions: “you’re,” “we’ll,” “can’t”
